The Edgewood Tahoe course has stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains from nearly every hole, so even if you’re having an off-day golfing, you’ll still get to see some truly spectacular views. Seriously—we’re tempted to pull out our phones and snap a photo at every hole!

Edgewood is a bit pricier than the other spots on this list, but the experience is well worth it. If you’re looking for a top-tier local golf course with the best views around, this is the place for you.

Lake Tahoe Golf Course

If you’re looking for a championship golfing experience, check out Lake Tahoe Golf Course! It’s located in a natural mountain meadow with some of the best views around. Noted golf course architect William Bell designed the course, so you know it’s the real deal.

If you want to take lessons, there are plenty of programs here for golfers of all skill levels, plus a putting green, driving range, and chipping area to get some practice in if you don’t want to play a full game. They also host weddings and private events; you can really do it all at Lake Tahoe Golf Course!

Tahoe Paradise Golf Course

They don’t call it Tahoe Paradise for nothing. This course has absolutely magnificent lake and mountain views, as well as towering pine trees that make play difficult at times, but the scenery is incredible!

Tahoe Paradise is filled with challenges, including tight, narrow fairways and thick cuts of rough (as well as those trees we mentioned!), but it’s rewarding! You can rent clubs here if you need to, and they have exciting events that occur weekly, like men’s and women’s club sessions.

Bijou Municipal Golf Course

Looking for a quick and easy nine-hole course? The Bijou Municipal Golf Course is the spot for you! This course is the oldest one in the area, and it’s perfect for beginners due to its length and relative ease (compared to the other courses on this list).

Just like the other courses we’ve listed here, you’ll find stunning mountain views and tree-lined fairways—but here, many aspects of the game aren’t quite so complicated. It’s a great place to take kids, too! Bijou is also one of the most affordable places on our list.
