Spend your days hiking or biking right from the property, exploring Lake Tahoe, or enjoying the slopes at Heavenly before returning to your cozy cabin for a relaxing evening beneath the pines.

This home offers comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 6 people over the age of 13, 9 all together if children under age 13 are included. Parking accommodates up to 2 full-sized vehicles in the driveway, or 3 compact vehicles. Street parking is not permitted. These rules are enforced 24/7.

Your family will feel right at home in the spacious living area, where soaring vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and an open second-floor walkway create a beautiful mountain atmosphere. Settle in for movie night on the large Vizio flat-screen TV with soundbar, relax in the cozy window nook beneath the stairs, or gather around the dining table with seating for 8. A beautiful brick-surround fireplace adds to the classic Tahoe character. ( Fireplace is currently not functional )

The open-concept kitchen makes preparing meals and entertaining easy, with a large island offering seating for 3, stainless steel appliances, a Whirlpool refrigerator with ice maker, and a Frigidaire Professional 4-burner gas range and oven. Additional amenities include a dishwasher, microwave, Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker, toaster, and garbage disposal. A beautiful kitchen hutch stocked with wine glasses adds an extra touch of charm, while the adjacent dining area provides plenty of room for family meals.

Outside, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of a home that backs directly to National Forest land. The spacious front deck features a gas BBQ and outdoor table with seating for 4, perfect for morning coffee or grilling dinner after a day of adventure. Around back, a patio with outdoor seating and a pathway leading to the private hot tub invite you to unwind beneath the towering pines. With direct access to the Power Line Trail, you can head out for a morning hike, mountain bike, take your dog for a walk, or explore the surrounding forest without ever getting in the car.

The home also offers plenty of family-friendly amenities, including board games, a stacked washer and dryer, central heating, and Wi-Fi. The main-floor primary bedroom provides convenient access to the living area and an adjoining bathroom, while the two upstairs bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. The upstairs family bedroom features a queen bed and twin-over-twin bunk bed, making it a great space for children or families traveling together.

Bedroom 3, Upstairs: Queen bed, twin-over-twin bunk bed, closet with board games, beautiful National Forest views, and direct access to the shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom and open walkway overlooking the living room.

Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1, Downstairs Primary Bathroom: Walk-in shower, sink, vanity mirror, and toilet. Accessible from the primary bedroom and hallway near the kitchen.
Bathroom 2, Upstairs Jack-and-Jill Bathroom: Shower/tub combo, sink, vanity, and toilet. Connects the two upstairs bedrooms.

About the Area
Set on approximately one acre and backing directly to the forest, this property offers a peaceful Tahoe setting with access to the Power Line Trail right outside your door. Guests can head out for a morning walk with the dog, mountain bike through the forest, explore nearby trails, or simply relax among the pines and enjoy the changing seasons.

South Lake Tahoe’s year-round recreation is also close by. Spend summer days at the lake, paddleboarding, kayaking, or exploring nearby beaches, then reach Heavenly Mountain Resort in under 5 minutes during winter. Spring and fall bring quieter trails, crisp mountain air, and beautiful scenery throughout the surrounding forest.

Safeway and Whole Foods are approximately 2 miles away, while restaurants, shopping, Heavenly Village, and Stateline entertainment are all within about 3 miles, giving guests convenient access to town while still enjoying a quiet retreat away from the busier tourist areas.

Property and Booking Information:
Once your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a rental agreement for signature. The home will be stocked with a starter supply of essentials including soaps, paper products, and one set of linens and towels. For longer stays, guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies and use the in-home laundry.
Property Access: There are 6 stairs from the driveway leading to a long pathway toward the home, followed by 7 additional stairs to reach the front deck and main entrance. The home has two stories, with one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms and a shared bathroom upstairs.
Fireplace: The fireplace is currently unavailable for guest use.
Like most homes in Tahoe this home does not have air conditioning.
During winter months, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is recommended due to mountain roads and winter conditions. Snowstorms and icy terrain can make access difficult without proper traction.
To ensure a smooth and compliant stay, please review all local rules included in your agreement. The City of South Lake Tahoe actively enforces vacation rental regulations.
Key property rules include:
• Occupancy and vehicle limits must never be exceeded.
• Street parking is prohibited.
• Hot tubs and outdoor areas may not be used after 10 p.m.
• Trash must be secured in bear-proof containers.
Pet-Friendly: 1-2 dogs allowed with pre-approval and an additional fee. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, and any damage caused by dog(s).
No smoking/vaping on the property (inside or outside).
No weddings, events, or bachelor/bachelorette parties.
NoiseAware monitors decibel levels in a privacy-safe way to protect quiet hours. Exterior cameras may monitor parking compliance only, and no indoor surveillance is used. There are cameras on the driveway, front entry and back door.
