Welcome to Bear-Ski Cabin, a warm, wood-finished mountain retreat designed for easy Tahoe getaways. Gather beneath exposed beams, cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace, cook together in the open kitchen, or step onto the back deck for a hot-tub soak beneath the pines. With a fully fenced yard perfect for kids and pets and comfortable spaces for families and friends, this cabin offers a relaxed home base for lake days, ski trips, and year-round adventure.

This home comfortably sleeps a family of 6 adults, 8 all together if children ages 13 and under are included. Parking is available for 2 vehicles—one in the garage and one in the driveway—and these limits apply 24/7.

Step through the front door and you’re greeted by warm wood finishes throughout the home, setting the tone for a true mountain cabin escape. The open great room brings the kitchen, dining area, and living room together beneath exposed-beam ceilings and knotty pine walls. Gather around the wood-burning fireplace, stream a movie on the 55-inch TV with surround sound, or sit down for family meals and game night around the dinner table.

The kitchen is designed for group cooking, with granite countertops and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Amenities include a Kenmore refrigerator with a built-in ice maker, Jenn-Air convection oven with gas cooktop, toaster, and Bosch dishwasher for easy cleanup. Start the morning with the two-in-one drip and K-Cup coffee maker, or let a meal simmer in the crockpot while you spend the day exploring Tahoe.

Just off the dining area, sliding doors open onto the back deck and fully fenced yard. Take a relaxing soak in the hot tub, fire up the gas BBQ, and let the kids and dogs enjoy the grassy yard framed by tall pine trees. It’s the kind of outdoor space that naturally brings everyone together for meals, games, and time in the fresh mountain air.

Area Information
Bear-Ski Cabin is conveniently located approximately five minutes from Heavenly Mountain Resort and five minutes from the shores of Lake Tahoe. Heavenly Village offers shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and gondola access, while the Stateline casinos are approximately 2.5 miles away. El Dorado Beach, Regan Beach, and Nevada Beach are also nearby for swimming, paddling, picnics, and relaxing by the lake.

Bijou Community Park is located at the end of the street and offers something for nearly every member of the group. Amenities include a 27-hole disc golf course, dog park, skate park, bike park, sand volleyball courts, playground, gazebos, picnic areas, and Bijou Golf Course. The nearby Bijou Bike Trail connects to additional biking and walking routes throughout South Lake Tahoe.

Golfers can reach Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in approximately 3 miles, with Tahoe Golf Course also within easy driving distance. Scenic destinations such as Emerald Bay State Park, along with the region’s hiking trails, mountain biking routes, beaches, and ski areas, make this a convenient location for exploring Tahoe in every season.

Property and Booking Information
We manage several nearby homes, so if you’re planning a stay for a larger group, we may be able to help coordinate reservations at multiple properties.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive a rental agreement for signature. The home will be stocked with a starter supply of essentials, including soaps, paper products, and one set of linens and towels.

To ensure a smooth and compliant stay, please review all local rules included in your rental agreement. The City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County actively enforce vacation rental regulations.
Key ordinances include:
• Occupancy and vehicle limits must never be exceeded
• Outdoor areas may not be used after 10 p.m.
• A maximum of 6 people over the age of 13 are permitted at the property at any time

Pet-Friendly
Dogs are allowed with pre-approval and an additional fee. No other animals are permitted.
Please bring a crate if you plan to leave your dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Barking or other behavior that disturbs the neighbors is not permitted.

Guests are responsible for additional cleaning charges related to pet hair on furniture, stains, dog waste, or damage caused by their dogs. The backyard is fully fenced, making it easier for pets to safely enjoy time outdoors.

Additional Information
This home is equipped with central heat but does not have central air conditioning. A portable air-conditioning unit is provided in Bedroom 2.
