Heavenly Mountain Gem - Pets, Hot Tub, 30-90 Days

Location is great, near shopping, very quiet, saw bears and bobcats, helpful property management, everything you could ask for.

This home perfectly fit our needs for 4 adults and 4 children, ranging in age from 1.5yo-6 yo. Everything was clean, the TV is amazing, & the location is incredible. It’s a 3 minute drive to parking for the slopes, ski school + daycare. You’re walking distance to Himmel Haus restaurant (4.7 stars/1,300 Google reviews), a very short drive to other restaurants & shopping. This was incredible because the soles of snow boots I had couldn’t manage the deep, wet snow and I was quickly able to buy some at Tahoe Sports just a few minutes away. We stayed during the barrage of major storms after Christmas in 2022 and were able to keep warm with the gas fireplace, plus overall good insulation of the cabin. Before the big snow dumps occurred, there was some wind that blew out the pilot light to the gas fireplace. I called RnR for some troubleshooting and they were extraordinarily prompt, with their technician Justin coming to assist in less than an hour. He restored the pilot light and was very professional and kind.

On New Years Eve, our power went out, along with many other homes all around Tahoe. The gas fireplace kept us warm. The cabin has ample lanterns and light sources so we all rang in the new year with backcountry charm. The other key is this cabin has a gas stove, which allowed us to cook food and boil water despite the loss of power, which made everyone happy.

Storms happen. Power failures happen. This cabin is equipped to help you and your family stay warm and fed should Mother Nature strike. I have friends who recently stayed in Tahoe elsewhere, & when they lost power due to a storm, their cabin was not insulated well; the temperature began to drop precipitously in less than 30 minutes. Not so with this Heavenly Mountain Gem.

i was expecting a good cabin but when I arrived I found a great one. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning to this cabin on our next trip to Lake Tahoe!

Great stay

Great location, right by Heavenly! The street is super quiet and surrounded by trees. We even saw two bears! Hopefully we’ll be back soon

The home was super clean and comfortable and had everything to make our stay easy and cozy. Lots of utensils in the kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding, a working fireplace, tons of games, and more than enough room for my family (2 adults, 2 children) and my parents. Location is great- lots of yard to explore (saw a bear in the backyard one morning!), and super close to the mountain for easy drop off and pick up.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Heavenly Mountain Gem. The location was perfect for us since we wanted privacy and nature, but still be close to all the action. The rental team was fantastic, we had great communication with them. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great location, clean house, look forward to visiting again in the future.

House was exactly what we were looking for. Fit everyone comfortably. Nice view from master bedroom. We were even graced by a bear sighting one morning. The kids were very excited.

This was a beautiful cozy home for a family getaway. Close enough to the lake, restaurants, and grocery but far enough from the noise and crowds. Our dog loved the walks around the property.

Overall it was a great experience. During this Pandemic we were able to get away from our house and enjoy with family to have quality time in this beautiful house.

Lot's to do in close proximity from this great vacation house. We hiked, biked and went to the lake. Evening was spent on the deck watching bears and other animals that passed through. Great accommodations and if you cook, all the things you need were there and in good condition.

We booked this for our family of 5 and our best friends (couple). The house was perfect, surrounded by a beautiful forest. Our family stayed upstairs in the 3 bedrooms and our friends had their own space in the downstairs bedroom. We were all very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness, amenities and cabin-like decor. We had one issue but RnR quickly got back to us with a manageable solution. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again.

The house was spotless and a lot of the appliances were brand new. Everything we needed was already there. Close proximity (almost walking distance) to casinos and Heavenly Resort.

Very cozy house with great amenities and a short distance from the California side of Heavenly. Great for family ski trips. Would definitely stay here again.
