Heavenly Grotto #9

This is our second time in as many years renting this particular home and I can only refer readers to my year-old comments, IOW, Heavenly Grotto #9 is as good a vacation home as you'll ever find in S. Lake Tahoe (or West of the Pecos!). the amenities are superb, the kitchen is the best equipped I've seen in a rental home (You wont find Dollar Store junk here, only top of the line, and plentiful, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, etc.).The beds are comfortable and the LR/TV room is cozy, warmed in winter by a very efficient propane fireplace. The only missing 'nice to have' item, especially during ski season, is an outdoor Jacuzzi/hot tub. I wish I owned this house!

Our recent stay at RnR Vacation Rentals in South Lake Tahoe exceeded expectations. The cabin's rustic charm and quality furniture created a warm and inviting atmosphere. With two spacious living rooms, downtime was never an issue. The kitchen was stocked with appliances and supplies for cooking 5 star meals. They also had a full cabinet of games to choose from. Comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep. I really enjoyed the lack of clutter in this house making it easy to unpack your things and clean up before check-out. Plus, the unbeatable value for the price made this rental a standout. From booking to check-out, our experience was seamless, with no problems to report. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this idyllic haven.

Beautiful home. Very spacious and comfortable. Close to ski resort, groceries, gas. Quiet and clean. All amenities we needed. Snow plow service on the driveway was great. Good entertainment provided, lots of streaming apps. Big backyard for the kids to play in the snow. Huge master bedroom and bathtub. Very relaxing family vacation. The rental managers checked in and were helpful. Would definitely return. Perfect home for our family.

We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay. Just a short 10 minute drive to Heavenly. The house is fantastic, clean, well furnished and a very well equipped kitchen. RNR staff was great to work with every step of the way. Having the big garage was a bonus. We stay at a lot of rentals and highly recommend this wonderful home.

Heavenly Grotto #9, is a beautiful well kept home in South Lake Tahoe. This house is in the perfect location for all the greatness is Tahoe. Everything about this house is exactly as advertised. I was contacted several times to ensure everything was going well and there were no problems

Four of us were in Lake Tahoe for a nephew's wedding and we rented this stunning home for four nights. When we arrived we were thrilled to find that this home was perfect. The location was convenient for all of our activities and the quality of all the furnishings was top notch. The home is just as impressive as the pictures portrayed, and it was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful yard and decks. The rental company provided excellent customer service. We only wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely love to stay here again! Thank you!

Our family had a great stay in heavenly grotto 9! It lived up to the pictures, was very clean, had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We made use of the kitchen and grill a lot. The location was conveniently close to all the attractions we sought out in SLT! We will recommend and would stay again!

Superb building, exceptionally clean and prepared for us.

Excellent location just right if the main highway Pioneer Trail which is an easy road to access parts of South Lake Tahoe. The house was amazing to say the least. The pictures do not do it justice. Very serene and relaxing. The house was just as clean as the pictures show and very updated and well taken care of. RnR rentals are always the best wouldn’t use any other vacation rental service for our trips to Tahoe!

My family and I enjoyed the home immensely. Such spacious living areas inside and outside. The master bedroom and bathroom were absolutely amazing! The bottoms floor bedrooms and bathroom in this split level home, was very nice as well, with separate amenities such as living area and entertainment center. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you need. I highly recommend this vacation rental!

Great place

Great property. Close to South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly (10-15 minute drive). Great linens and well stocked kitchen supplies. Garage option is a must for winter. Very nice beds and TVs. Suited our family well. Only minor concern is that one of the twin beds was located in the master bedroom which is a bit awkward. Would have been utilized if located elsewhere. Also, check out time at ten can be tough. Eleven would be better for bigger families. Overall a wonderful experience.

The pictures on VRBO usually look better than the reality. Not for Heavenly Grotto #9. It's everything you see in the pictures, and then some. By "some", I mean the coziness of the place, what Germans define as "Gemutlichkeit". The house is superbly appointed with comfortably plush furniture, tasteful dinner and glassware, lots of pots and pans, and large and comfortable beds. It is tastefully decorated. You don't have to lie in bed staring at pictures of the owner's relatives and pets. The neighborhood is very quiet, the streets are lined with beautiful homes and perfect for after-dinner walks. However, since perfection has not yet been invented, I must find at least one fault: athough the streets were clear of snow, the inclined driveway to the house was covered by 4-5 inches of ice--so icy that our car slid down the driveway. A minor problem considering all the pluses the house offered.

Even with the record snowfall the property was lovely, and the owners have provided for every need and comfort (thanks for the excellent beds!). We have stayed in multiple homes over the years, and this one is in the top three of all time. We would love to visit the area again in the late spring or fall at some point, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Heartily recommended!

Great space. Easy process and not a lot of ask from the owners when leaving.

This home is exactly as pictured. Very clean and spacious for 6 adults. It is about a 18 minute drive to Heavenly Ski Resort/Village. The house came well equipped with everything one could need. We would stay here again.

The property was better that we could have imagined! Tons of space for our family of 5. Lower level was a great hang out area for the kids. The house was very spacious and had many upgraded features. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was very nice being able to park in the garage considering there has been many feet of snow prior to our arrival. The roads/driveway were plowed but there was still some snowpack and ice on the road. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here. It had everything you needed almost like you were at your own house. We especially appreciated the garage to park in so that our vehicle wasn’t covered in snow each morning. The fireplace was so cozy! We would love to stay here again.

After 40” of snow shortly after arriving we were cut off from all communication, cell service, internet and electricity. Fortunately we had already shopped with plenty of food and I already cooked two breakfast keish with a brisket in the oven. This home was well equipped with plenty of emergency lights, candles and a gas fireplace to keep us warm. I transferred the brisket to the gas bbq and 10 hours later we had a fabulous meal. Although we were snowed in with no way of leaving, it was beautiful. The trees were gorgeous, the fact that we had no internet or cell service allowed us to BE with one another. 48 hrs later the plows showed up and electricity restored but we definitely had an enjoyable time together. We would definitely return and think this property would also be great in the summer with a great backyard. Just note neighbors nearby and 10pm quiet time which would come in to play with a backyard bbq

6 adults stayed very comfortably. Very nice linens on the beds. Living areas are spacious and cozy. The kitchen is well appointed; didn’t want for anything. Would definitely stay here again.

The home was exactly as described. It was extremely well maintained and appointed. We had no problems and when we contacted RnR Vacation Rentals with a quwarion they were quick to respond and friendly. The location for us was great and information provided about restaurants and activities was very helpful.

We really loved everything about this rental house. The beds were comfortable and sheets so soft. Showers were good and hot. We grilled one night and enjoyed the back patios every night. Everything was very organized, clean and professional. We will definitely use RNR vacation rentals again.

This place is beautiful and the cleanliness was amazing. The supplies and all. The best rental we have ever stayed in up at Lake Tahoe. It won't disappoint you.

WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE PROPERTY FOR OUR SKI VACATION

The property was good! No major issues. The garage door opener batteries must be dead. Couldn’t get it to work. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Kitchen had everything we needed. 1 small cooking dish broke and 1 towel ripped because of age. We disposed of both into the trash.

The property was excellently described and the pictures were right on . The property was luxurious , elegant , spacious and cozy at the same time . We came for a ski vacation and the house is less then a 15 drive to Heavenly . We would definitely come back and recommend this house to anybody . It made our vacation so much more enjoyable

We ended our 2 week road trip honeymoon in Tahoe, and grotto #9 was the perfect house to relax and enjoy a few days before heading home. The house was gorgeous, with all the amenities you could possibly need. It was perfectly located and just a short drive to restaurants and popular destinations. We can’t wait to come back!

Great place in a great location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Heavenly Grotto #9. The home was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the open floorplan and the kitchen had everything just like home! It was a perfect place to get away for a long weekend. Close to Heavenly for skiing and convenient to Stateline for an afternoon outing! Would definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of South Lake and Stateline still with all the convenience to all the various activities Tahoe has to offer.

What a awesome cabin! Room for everyone! Close to anything we needed. Loved the close proximity to Lake Tahoe and all the state parks. The cabin’s rustic charm mixed with modern conveniences made our trip tops.

We drove from Texas to see our California grandchildren. We enjoyed each of them separately at the cabin. Having the daybed with the king in the master was perfect. We enjoyed the movie selections, grilled out several nights, and played scrabble and bird watched on the back deck. We looked at stars from the front balcony and enjoyed the ski lift swing. Our stay was spectacular! The cabin was lovely and we found everything we needed to spoil our grand ones for 10 wonderful days! Thank you:)

The place was excellent with lots of space and a well-appointed kitchen. We loved that we could reach hiking and mountain biking trails right out the door. It would also be a very short drive to heavenly in winter.

It's a nice beautiful house and the hospitality was amazing. I would recommend staying at the home for a couple of days to experience the home and how amazing of a home it is.

We had a wonderful time in Tahoe at this beautiful rental home. It is located in the trees not too far away from the main South Lake Tahoe area. Our family of 6 had so much space and enjoyed playing games, cooking, and exploring this beautiful area. Our experience with RnR vacation rentals was easy. Everyone we spoke or corresponded with was kind and professional. I felt everything was very clean and safe. I would not hesitate to return to this home and rent through RnR again.

We rented this house for the thanksgiving and it was great. The house is clean, big and well equipped.
He had some issues with the heater but the RNR team were very quick to fix the issue.
It is a great house for families.

This home was perfect for us! We were two families, with kids. The downstairs living room was perfect for the kids to stay entertained! The kitchen was very well stocked! We packed our own spices, but there was even Tupperware! Tupperware was a nice perk for us, since we often had leftovers! The backyard is not very private, you can see ALL the neighbors. We were very happy with our experience!
