Famous Cabin

Great, clean house with a lot of space, fantastic location, pet friendly. Great to have 4 full baths for 10 people. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We had such an amazing stay here over the weekend with our group of friends. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The place was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The amenities were top-tier — everything we needed (and more) was thoughtfully provided, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxing. One of the biggest highlights was the location. Being within walking distance to the lake was a game changer — perfect for morning strolls and sunset hangs without needing to drive. Overall, this was one of those stays where everything just clicks. Great vibes, great comfort, and an all-around memorable experience. Would absolutely come back and highly recommend to anyone considering it!

The house was large and offererd plenty of room for all of us space when needed. The gorgeious lake was only steps from the house. The surrounding area was very quiet and less than 10 minutes to state line and downtown shops and gondola. Overall, definately recommend .

Great location across from the beach. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, coffee supplies and utensils.

The layout was beyond perfect for our family. The location is located central to everything including walking distance to thw beach. Our host was easily accessible and helped us with whatever we needed. I will definitely be reccomending this location if not renting it again.

We had 8 adults staying here (4 couples). We enjoyed having our own spaces plus communal spaces to socialize. The location was so convenient, walking distance to several restaurants, bars and coffee shops and just a short drive to Heavenly and the casinos. The kitchen was well equipped and there are so many dishes we never felt like we were scrambling. Overall I would recommend this place to people looking for a convenient location and good amount of space.

Wonderful stay & great location

We had an amazing time here with out family. We had an early thanksgiving and the kitchen has everything we needed. It was very well stocked. Out pup also loved the house and they even left us a cute dog basket during check in.

Large home with great layout and near perfect location for both ski and sun. Our vacation was made even better by great communication from the property manager and when something small did not work (the only thing that broke during our two month stay) it was handled immediately with a follow up call after it was fixed. It really was the perfect winter getaway for 4 families.

Beautiful place in a perfect location for both lake and ski! I have rented a place in Tahoe for the ski season for the past decade with 3 other couples and this was by far our best experience. Large home with two main living areas made for a great space for the kids and adults to spend quality time. This was all made even better by the A+ communication with the property manager. Couldn't recommend more and hoping to come back some day in the near future

I was extremely happy with this rental. The property was in great shape and well maintained. The rental house is well suited to entertain and is an excellent location near the beach and bars/restaurants. The pictures accurately depict the condition of the property, and it has a nice (partial) view of the lake.

My experience at the Famous Cabin in South Lake Tahoe was awesome. The cabin itself was nice, upstairs had nice big window for good lake view. Overall clean cabin. Got to stay near the Lake and the Shops. Easy access to entertainment without having to drive your vehicle. The best part was convenience on location.

Famous Cabin is a great place to stay. Our family spent the month there and found it to be a great location with all of the amenities needed for a comfortable experience with our family.
