This lovely home is the perfect place to stay for a big group with multiple activity options. There is a hot tub for four, multiple game tables (billiards, air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, video games) as well as plenty of DVD’s and board games. With multiple levels and and 4 full bathrooms, there is plenty of room to spread out. The location is in a quiet neighborhood not far from Heavenly Village and multiple restaurants and shops. The home is well maintained and comfortable. RNR is very responsive and the check in is very easy. Highly recommended!!

This rental experience was wonderful from start to finish. The RnR staff stayed in touch with us regularly about our upcoming stay, offered tips and suggestions to make the experience the best it could be, and were available to assist whenever we needed during the stay. The property is beautiful. Kitchen is very well appointed and large enough for multiple people to work in it at the same time. The main level was large and comfortable. The multi-levels afforded privacy when needed. The downstairs Rec Room and outside Hot Tub provided plenty of recreation and relaxation. The location was perfect...close enough to Lake Tahoe to easily get to activities, but removed from the traffic congestion and noise of the touristy areas. The neighborhood was lovely, peaceful and perfect for taking evening walks. We would highly recommend RnR Vacation Rentals and Black Bear Villa specifically.

This house was FABULOUS!!! Great game room for the kids and us adult kids! They left out that there is a pinball machine in the game room as well as all the other games! House was so beautiful, couches were so comfy as well! Bedrooms were also great! Everything in this house was just wonderful. We had a great time! Like another review, I was very nervous about the sound level restriction but it was never a problem and we had our 2 yr old grandson! Only thing I would improve is the consistency about the cleaning rules. They differ from the binder vs the website. I called RnR to get clarity and they answered the first time and clarified my questions. I think they should also put more chairs on the deck since 12 are allowed in the house. I would have no problem renting this house again! It is a little high priced but it was worth it! We had a great time!

The house is beautiful! The bear decorations everywhere are a nice touch, and our group loved that the hot tub went up to 104 degrees. The open kitchen/living room on the top floor was a great central spot for our group, the game room was a great place to hang, and the house had a huge selection of DVDs to pick from. Would happily stay there again! My only note is that the air hockey puck needs to be replaced - it's too light and flies all over the place. Also there was a surprise early morning drop-in from some window cleaners (but that was resolved easily with the owner's on-call line). Great, well-maintained house

I took my daughter and a couple of her friends for a quick weekend trip to celebrate her 16th birthday and the home was very clean and lots of room. The game room was perfect, they all had a ton of fun with all the games. The location is perfect, just about ten minutes from town and a grocery store.

The house is very clean and very cozy. My family is very enjoy to stay even short vacation. The location is convenient to go to Heavenly or skiing (Sierra at Tahoe).

Property was as advertised. Game room was a nice surprise. Property accommodated all the guests(10) without any problem. Being able to spend time with all 10 guests in the house at the same time during the storm was key to a great stay. I would definitely recommend this house for future rentals.

Close to Heavenly ski resort. Our family really enjoyed this house! Plenty of room to spread out and it had an awesome game room that we all enjoyed! We had a wonderful vacation staying in this house! Loved the hot tub after a day on the slopes! Well stocked kitchen and very clean!

Our family had a great time at South Lake Tahoe. The skiing was very good and the view was fantastic. The town was easy to wander around in. This venue is on our list for future visits.

House was perfect for Thanksgiving. We all had room and for the week the weather was perfect. I got the high score on pinball just over 7 million and we had the best time seeing the sights of South Lake Tahoe. The house was amazing and so much room. The game room was perfect for the kids and kitchen was great for cooking. The couch upstairs was losing feathers and the water pressure is low but other thank that it was great.

The house was as advertised. Plenty of things for everyone to keep them entertained and interacting with others.

Wonderful house. Great location. Hosted family for our destination wedding and this home had everything we needed for a nice comfortable stay.

The house was perfect. We had 2 families with college aged kids. Plenty of space and games and a large PERFECT great room to congregate in. Kitchen had everything we needed as we cooked dinner at home every night. 2 wishes: 1) We stayed in mid-May and temps were low 70’s during day and upper 30’s/40’s at night. It took us several days to get window openings/fan/air flow right at night. Better air circulation in house at night would have been welcome. 2) when we left we were asked tho throw out all food - even unopened. We did but it felt terrible. We did leave unopened alcohol for cleaning crew/someone to have.

My family and I came to Lake Tahoe on our first official cousins trip, and we loved staying in this beautiful, spacious, and clean home for a few days! Easy check-in and check-out process and easy access to the town. Highly recommend!

The house is huge and gorgeous, but the amenities really top all the other VRBOs in Tahoe (we have been renting for years). The game room is huge and perfect for teens, although adults will enjoy it too! We also love staying in this neighborhood b/c it feels away from the chaos but is not far at all, and it has great hiking/snowshoeing trails. When there is snow on the ground there is good sledding too.

I stayed at the Black Bear Villa with my wife and son plus 2 other families for our spring break. The place was perfect plenty of room to relax, large kitchen with everything we needed, hot tub, and even some toys for the kids. The game room in the basement provided hours of evening entertainment.

Excellent layout and game room on bottom floor kept noise at a minimum. I have rented a large house or cabin twice a year for the last ten years for family get togethers and all said this is their favorite so far. Only real complaint was ice in driveway very slick and my son almost fell getting out of the car and another car almost slid into another car parked in the driveway .Except for the big storm bout six weeks previously, there hasn't been any recent snow. The house is in the shade so it doesn't melt quickly and this potentially dangerous situation should be remedied.

This place was unreal. Even bigger than it looked in the pictures if you can believe it. Well stocked kitchen (in terms of cooking gadgets, pots, pans, etc.) private hot tub, tons of space, and the game room is unbelievable! Plus just a 5-10 minute drive to downtown Tahoe and the state line. We will definitely be back!

We had two families and it was great to come home each night and grill, use the game room and hot tub and relax. Home was very clean and organized. We made one call about working the TV and did receive a call back but we had figured out how to work it. Location was close to grocery and Heavenly attractions. Highly recommend!

Description of the property is accurate. House was totally clean. Tons of space even if you wanted to get away from other people staying with you. Rooms and beds are comfortable and cozy. Laundry room was a game changer, no need to overpack. Huge kitchen and family room had literally everything. Loved the outdoor patio with grill and outdoor seating. The kids and adults loved the downstairs game room. Wish we could’ve stayed at least 2 weeks.

We enjoyed this beautiful home- plenty of space, well stocked, organized, and great location close to Heavenly ski area. Less then 10 min to the slopes, restaurant, and lake. Will definitely stay here on our next Tahoe trip!

We had such a wonderful time at the Black Bear Villa. The house exceeded my expectation. It is huge! The rooms are big and roomy. The game room is awesome and we love the kitchen and masterbedroom. All rooms had tv's which was nice and so many board games. The was clean and organized. I loved the fact that everything was labeled, from the tv remotes to all the cabinets and drawers to the light switches. You didn't have to guess where things were. We will definitely use them again on our next trip to Lake Tahoe!

We had a great time at Black Bear Villa with the family (3 generations). The house had everything we needed, including all the kitchen utensils for making big family dinners; lots of games to play and a great play room for hanging out when it was cold outside. The kids also enjoyed playing in the snow and making a snowman. Everyone wants to come back again!

This home was amazing! Large floor plan made it ideal for multiple families to have privacy yet was cozy enough for family dinner and competitive games . House was clean and in great shape! I would definitely rent again!

Our stay at Black Bear Villa was perfect. We had three families staying together with 9 kids. The home's game room was perfect for the kids to go play while the adults had plenty of space to cook, hang out, and play games. The seating, sleeping, and dining options were perfectly situated for such a large group. We would definitely book this home again!

Absolutely beautiful home. Was impeccably clean upon arrival. Very easy entry with combination coded door. The game room kept the kids and the adults entertained for hours. Also really enjoyed the hot tub. Quick ten minute drive into town as well as to casinos. Had a great time.

Very clean and tidy place and the layout was different than I thought it would be based off the pictures but it was still very nice ! The only thing I would tell people to remember is that the elevation in Lake Tahoe Is most likely different than where you live. This place is three stories so there are a lot of stairs and everyone was getting winded but it was really funny to watch ! Overall though a wonderful place and I’m so glad we stayed !

Plenty of room to separate and plenty of room to gather together. We cooked every night and the kitchen was very accommodating. The game room added some extra fun and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a home on the road.

We had so much fun playing pac man, centipede, Gallaga, and showing our teens Pong.... we played air hockey and foosball and had a blast. the house is beautiful with the coolest furniture. the master bed is so comfortable and the kids took turns taking bubble baths up to their necks in the masterbathtub with jets! short drive to boating, went canoeing, went tubing, drove to Emerald Lake Inspiration point for the sunset. Great cooking kitchen, barbequed on the deck. sooooo relaxing. hate to give up our secret for fear that it will be constantly booked and we won't be able to rent it again. tons of board games. super clean. overall a fantastic 3 day get away, I feel refreshed and deeply grateful for the chance to share this home.

House was beautiful, spacious, and had everything we needed! We ran into a few little issues such as the coffee maker not working but the property management company quickly offered to come and bring a replacement. We didn’t use the hot tub but the game room was awesome! Our party was made up of 3 small families and we would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home with charming and thoughtful cabin-themed décor. Lots of space for large groups, including a big kitchen with many appliances and a full spice rack. Awesome amenities, including a hot tub, game room, and karma box for guests to leave unused items for the next round of guests. The lengthly and strict rules (including a noise monitor) listed on the post were initially quite off putting, but turned out not to be an issue at all. We would definitely return!

This was a great property for our 8 person group. So many rooms and a lot of space for everyone. The kitchen was very well stocked for us cooking almost every morning and night we were there. Linens and towels were clean and abundant. The game room was amazing - so large and had tons of activities to keep us entertained. The jacuzzi was also great, as was the large selection of games and movies/DVDs on hand! It was also a super convenient short drive away to Heavenly as well as downtown amenities. We’d definitely come back!!!

This place is absolutely unbelievable. The game room, the size of the place, the amenities were all top notch. We were blown away that the actual home was so much better than watch the pictures showed. RnR is as professional as can be and the entire process was completely seamless.

We had a wonderful time at the Black Bear Villa rental. The house is beautiful, clean and very well stocked with all the essentials for cooking and baking some goodies. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are well stocked with towels, soap and shampoo. The game room downstairs is amazing and there are also plenty of board games to choose from. We were all very comfortable because the house is roomy and well designed. I would definitely look to stay at your house again when I return to Lake Tahoe.Also the rental management was a pleasure to work with.

We truly had a wonderful time at the Black Bear Villa. There was plenty of space for all of us to do our own thing; the game room was a huge hit. The home is very well located; short drive to restaurants and shops, as well as the Tahoe Rim Trail (we explored both days we were there). Wow! We had a family trip here and it was perfect! Its close to everything you need in South Tahoe. Its spotless, modern and cozy! Its massive! The game room made the kids day! The open kitchen and dining room was perfect for socializing. The beds were comfy. Everything looked brand new. The furniture and decor were very nice for a rental. It is actually even more beautiful than pics.

Our family met in Lake Tahoe for a rare vacation together. We chose to stay in Black Bear Villa and we were glad that we did! The home is perfect for a large group of several generations as there is something for everyone. The most well appointed kitchen of any rental house we have ever stayed in. Everyone had a great time and we are discussing when we can make another trip to Tahoe.

A great vacation getaway to Lake Tahoe! The house is exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. Our group had the best time at Black Bear Villa! The house was beautiful, spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked and fun to cook in. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were, and amazed at how nice the bedding was. We all had a blast in the huge game room, and the hot tub was a great addition to our relaxing vacation. The street was nice and quiet, and there was plenty of space for the family to play outside in the snow. We can't wait to go back year after year!
