Family Favorite - Big Yard, Hot Tub, EV Charger, Pets, Trails

This rental has become one of our favorites in the South Lake Tahoe area. Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Our kids had fun playing with the games provided and in the backyard snow.

This home was so cozy, very clean and stocked with everything we needed to have a great trip. We felt so at home and enjoyed all the games and snacks. Thanks for letting us stay for our annual family trip to the snow. We will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and conveniently located close to Heavenly. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were very attentive when we needed assistance with a couple of things at the house.

Everything was perfect. House was so clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Felt like I was at home. Hot tub is as pictured. Was able to go for a walk through the gate in the back through the snow. So refreshing, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Very close to Heavenly. RnR checked up on us and was very responsive to our highchair need. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Family Favorite, it was in a quiet neighborhood that we enjoyed walking in. The home was as described and very clean. It was well stocked and comfy to stay in. It was easy to check in and out of, and we would stay with R&R Rentals again.

It's a lovely home and very comfortable for a family vacation. The garage is small and fine if you drive cars but if you have trucks or large SUV's it's a little difficult. Overall we loved our vacation in this home and would definitely recommend to others!

Nice tree covered streets in local neighborhood. Some street traffic of locals going to work in morning, and there happened to be a house being built down the street. That can happen anywhere - so there was a little noise sometimes. Easy access via Pioneer Trail to destination locations. House was clean and well supplied. Other than the floor mats in entry and bathrooms, they use Free & Clear no fragrance detergent on the linens, which for me and my sister is super important so we don't get headaches from the toxic fragrance stuff other places use. Also, helps keep Tahoe air clean not spewing toxic dryer sheet stuff into the air. (requested no dryer sheets on linens) RnR was very responsive to our request. Nice open space area on main floor of house, but the deck was the best way to start the day! Birds chirpping away. (Was a little worried about airport traffic, but wasn't a problem at all). Good stay - all n all.

The house was amazing and bigger than pictures. The kitchen has every tool you would need to use if you are a chef or baker. My sons loved the scrabble game (age 27,29) years old. The jacuzzi was so relaxing and the entire house was so spacious, clean and every detail was perfect. They really have everything you can think of if you need something, including spices lol . My family definitely wants to come back to this place our favorite!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect for the five of us (5 adults) and our two little Shihpoos. Super clean and the description of all the amenities, location and layout were spot on. We were welcomed with a wonderful gift box full of yummy treats. At the entrance, they provided dog bowls, a feeding mat and potty bags which were perfect for our little girls. The yard large was a great area for our pups to romp around in. We enjoyed one of the puzzles they provided for us and wished we could have stayed longer to finish it! We were in Tahoe for a hockey tournament and it was an easy distance to the South Lake Tahoe Ice Rink and minutes away from grocery stores. We ventured out towards Emerald Bay for short hikes and stopped for a couple of scoops of ice cream at the Camp Richardson's Ice Cream Parlour, a must do when in the area. Maria's Mexican Restaurant and Sprouts Cafe are our favorite haunts while in SLT. It was a pleasurable experience and a lovely stay at this wonderful cabin. We would love to make this a yearly vacation spot!

We enjoyed our time at the rental. The house is definitely bigger than the pictures which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was fun, the patio was awesome for out dogs. The board games/puzzles could use some updates. Only one of the room heaters was working but I'm sure the host would have fixed the issue quickly if we asked for more. Overall it was a great stay and we had a great time.

We had a group of 7 for a birthday celebration. This house was exactly as described. Clean and roomy. Nice kitchen facility. Everything worked. Nicely stocked with games and even asked for the kids. We were very happy with this rental and would use it again if we get to Lake Tahoe again.

Our experience at the house has always been great. This is our second year in a row renting this house. We love the layout and it’s close to town and the casinos. This year there was so much snow and we loved it. The snow was 4’ deep on the balcony and there’s was no place to sit, so my grandson helped me carve a couch and love seat for us to sit on during our stay.

Host were great! They were very accommodating when we were dealing with a lot of problems due to weather and blackouts when we were set to leave. The neighborhood is enchanting and the house is full of all the things you would need throughout your stay in Tahoe. The house is warm and cozy even during our stay when there was a city wide power outage for a day.

We had a great trip to South Lake Tahoe. This is a wonderful and comfy home to stay in. Away from the hustle and bustle but only 10-15 minutes away from restaurants and activities.

This is a beautiful home located in a nice quiet neighborhood just off of Pioneer Trail. The house is very clean and stocked well with everything you will need for your stay. The ice maker was not working at the time of our stay, but the rental property was nice and offered to drop a bag of ice off to us. Hopefully they have that small detail fixed by now. Other than that we didn't have any issues and really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Please note that the house does not have A/C so it can get a bit warm during the summer months, especially in the upstairs portion of the house. (we were there in August) They do have ceiling fans and other small fans in the house to help. We just opened the windows and sliding door in the morning and tried to cool it down before it got too warm. Coffee out on the deck in the morning is priceless... :)

This place was perfect for our nine day family vacation. Super clean, super nice, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, trash bags, etc.), responsive hosts, and wonderful location! Would 100% recommend and we’d definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying in this home. Both times I have been impressed with its cleanliness and attention to detail. I loved that they provided a gift basket of wine and snacks upon our arrival and even had a basket with pet necessities for our dog! USB outlet chargers were a plus too. Though we didn’t bring ours, I liked that they had an EV charger for electric vehicles and I liked that the garage was available to use for parking. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a perfect home for our week stay in Tahoe. Plenty of space and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed the location as well! You can't go wrong with booking this home. RnR was great to work with as well. We look forward to next year!

This home was PERFECT for a week-long family vacation with 7 adults. We relaxed in the hot tub, bird-watched in the backyard, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, played board games, made puzzles, and watched movies on the giant living room TV (we felt like we were in a movie theater!). The home was immaculately clean and magnificently appointed with everything we could need. The layout was perfect for spending time together, but having privacy, too. Everyone I spoke with at RnR Vacation Rentals was super helpful and friendly. I'm convinced this is the BEST little company in the world! We will definitely book with them again.

We had a great time staying here during our weekend in S. Lake Tahoe! The property was clean, had great amenities, and was in a great location. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of exploring and we loved how cozy the fireplace made the home feel.

Visited here for a family ski trip. We spent several days at Heavenly and made the 35-40 min drive to Kirkwood several times as well. We loved our stay - we had 3 couples staying with one toddler and two infants, and the setup was just perfect for what we needed. The backyard was great - the toddler loved the swing and walking around on the deep snow drifts. The parking lot for the California Lodge is less than 10 minutes away, groceries (Raleys) are less than 10 minutes away, and getting into SLT was also super easy. The Hot Tub was hot, and the house was spick-and-span clean before we got there. I'd be hard pressed to think of even just one thing I would change ... I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a family ski trip. We had 2 infants and 1 toddler in our party, and this was just the perfect setup for our family. 10 minutes to Heavenly and 40 minutes to Kirkwood? Doesn't get any better. Would definitely stay here again!

We felt this place was even bigger than described. They have everything you'd need to make delicious meals and all the appliances are new. We loved our stay and have already discussed returning.

Amazing! We come to Tahoe every January for my wife’s birthday. We always bring at least one of our three daughters and they’re family’s. This year like last we had our daughter Crystal, son-in-law DJ is our two grandkids Daniel and Lukas. We had our small dogs too. There was tons of snow too. The house was amazing. The floor plan was great and roomy. Loved the jacuzzi bath tub in the master bathroom. The hot tub was fun in the 20 degree weather. We will definitely be back to this house again. The one and the only thing I would say they need to add is at least one TV in the downstairs bedrooms. With the grandkids wanting to watch kids shows they wanted to use Grandma and Grandpa’s master bedroom right when Grandpa wanted to take a nap lol. Overall loved it. Great place to stay a family!

Six of us (family and friends) shared this house for almost a week. So comfortable! The house was immaculate when we arrived. The layout was perfect for a mix of privacy and shared space. The kitchen was truly well-stocked with cooking equipment (many VRBOs say this, but they are not). The location was perfect - off the beaten track enough not to have to deal with casino traffic and the like, but close to everything. The hot tub was divine. I can’t say enough about what a great stay we had. We will be back!

RnR was extremely helpful with our family during the winter storm. Prior to check in they were super communicative as well. They left free snacks and many extra linens and towels. Very good directions for everything. Friendly and very easy to reach. We’d love to book with them again in the future and highly recommend.

We treated out 3 kids (and spouses) for a week in Tahoe and this place was perfect location for us. We spent the days either hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing or downhill skiing and the hot tub was just what we needed after the days activities. We brought up all our food (with an easy trip to the store for the few items we forgot) and the kitchen was fully equipped for all our cooking needs and the open floor plan gave us ample space. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Super ski weekend

we drove up to the mountains the dy adter a gian-tsowstorm! Yhe house hd had the dcks and dricveway shoveled / SO TJE ENTRY WASM'T bad/ The house was very pleasant and warm. WHICK WAS VERY NICE. All in all a great place to stay!

This is a fantastic base camp for your South Lake Tahoe adventures. Tons of space, and a fully fenced yard for your pup. We enjoyed our stay very much, and appreciated the extra efforts from the host including a Christmas tree and driveway snow plow service. Also the downloadable app, keypad front door lock, and garage door opener made things so easy. Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

It is t often that a place is exactly as advertised. This house was incredibly well appointed and the pictures are a great representation. It was perfect for our family and we would definitely return.

We really enjoyed the house and location. The house is very spacious and well stocked with towels, cooking utensils, and paper products. We loved the spa and the fenced in backyard.

I have stayed in only a few houses over the years, but this home was perfect. It was clean and provided everything we needed from appliances to linens. I was also pleased they the owners were so accepting towards pets. They had doggie bowls and items to make his stay here good as well. With a fenced in yard, he was content to sniff around leisurely. The hot tub was ready upon arrival and all safety precautions in terms of cleaning had been done throughout the entire house. I could not have been happier — thank you!

We had such a nice time relaxing and hanging out. Love how we can ride bikes in the neighborhood and hike from the backyard down to the creeks. Dog loved it too. RnR staff was excellent in responding to any questions we had. They did an excellent job cleaning and we felt very safe and cared for. Thank you!!

We had a family vacation and stayed through a long weekend. Everything about the house is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware. It was clean and spacious. I especially appreciate that there are hair dryers (it's always nice to have that at any airbnbs). Everall we had a great time and would come back again.

Overall great space and location! Only 15 minutes from Heavenly Village and Ski Resort. Very attentive staff. Had an issue with getting the hot tub open - a technician arrived in a matter of minutes. Would recommend!

Excellent location, delightful stay. We ended up not going to the lake at all.. we enjoyed the snow and made a snow lady in the back yard. Lots of nice touches... stair rails, hot tub, excellent pots and pans, handy washer/dryer, 2-car garage. Especially enjoyed the fenced back yard where the kids and dog could play, but with access to woods through the back gate.

This place was perfect for my 2 pups and my family and friends. Had 5-7 people in the house the whole time and there was enough space for everyone. The kitchen and family room area was an awesome space to host everyone. The master bedroom upstairs was huge and shares a bathroom with top floor connected to room. The amenities were great. The house had everything my group needed. Big backyard space for the dogs and we took advantage of the hot tub every night. Great stay for our annual vacation, would definitely return!

The house was as beautiful as the pictures portrayed! Many times we have rented homes that look beautiful in the photos but find the decor and furnishings a bit tired and worn. This home was updated and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the hot tub in the evenings after a tiring day out. The fenced yard was so nice to let the kids play while we made dinner with no worries of any of them going into the street.

We had a wonderful week here. Everything was perfect, from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable beds to the cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub. The house is very well kept up and everything looks new. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent long weekend at this wonderful home. The house was warm, cosy, spacious, clean and filled with all the things we could possibly need for a great weekend. Property was spotless upon arrival and showed exactly as pictured online. Functional and open layout allowed for plenty of interaction with large groups, along with a comfortable second floor with all the bedrooms (minus the master upstairs). Fenced yard was great for dogs, with access to even more nature behind the gate. Great location, excellent home and superb experience. Thank you R&R!

Our stay at RnR was by far one of the best experiences weve ever had. Communication across their team was always polite, friendly, and always punctual. The cabin was spotless and the amenities were really great! Being centrally located, we were able to go to the beach, hike, and head into the main strip of South Tahoe within 15 mins. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this place!

Came here with family and friends to celebrate my husband's bday. There were 10 of us which is the max for this home. Perfect location off Pioneer Trail and 5 minutes to Heavenly Village

BEDROOMS The written description was a lil different than the pictures so to be clear, there are 4 bedrooms (4 queen and 2 singles in the bunk room). The beds were comfortable for the most part and the bedding was clean. One small problem was that 3 bedrooms on the bottom floor share one small bathroom which was tricky at showertime but we made it work.

KITCHEN What I loved most about this home was how well stocked it was. I've had rentals with a handful of old pots and pans and a few mismatched utensils. This home was fully equipped with Calpalon cookware, plenty of cooking utensils, dishware, silverware, etc. The cabinets were labeled making it easy to locate and return things where they belong. This was all very helpful if your family likes to cook in a lot which ours does. We enjoyed breakfasts on the balcony every morning, overlooking the wooded backyard and walking trails. The BBQ was clean and had a tank of gas ready for us.

BACKYARD The backyard was large and fenced which was important to us because we brought our puppy. I would have liked some yard furniture outside but we brought our own beach chairs so we used those instead. The neighbors have a large dog which barked loudly when our dogs sniffed the shared fence or when he saw us on the balcony. He'd stop after a little while though so no problem but if you have skittish dogs, he could be intimidating. The jacuzzi was clean and comfortable.

LIVING/DINING We loved the open floor plan of the kitchen/dining/living room area. The dining room table holds 10 people plus 3 more seating at the bar. The only issue was there was only seating for 5 in the living room, it would have been great to have an additional loveseat instead of the desk in that area.

Ironically, the only thing that could be improved: the TV is difficult to operate because access to channels is through ROKU, and then various buttons need to be pushed. We rented a house because we love to cook. We were very happy you see that the kitchen was very well stocked with all the cookware, small appliances and utensils that we needed. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Great for a family with children.

Wonderful home with great amenities, the kitchen was wonderful and part of the great room. We had lots of family fun putting together a puzzle and playing other games. The TV and cable set up was state of the art and had so many options and channels to chose from. The hot tub was fantastic and so relaxing, we all enjoyed it. We definetely recommend this great home to everyone.

We stayed at this home for the Labor Day holiday. We were impressed as soon as we opened the door. The home is spacious and clean (like really clean). My kids enjoyed the backyard and the game room downstairs. My only complaint would be that there was not any Tissue/Kleenex boxes in the bathrooms or kitchen, BUT other than that it was perfect! We will be staying here again!
