location easy to find, central location, place was very spacious, kitchen was incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, and extras. wifi wasn't as strong, but I think it was due to the location (middle of the woods), lots of entertainment for kids, especially the visit from the bear

Very nice home in the peaceful area of South Lake Tahoe, less than 10 minutes drive to Heavenly village and stateline casinos. The home was perfect for our family of 7, and had helpful instructions throughout the home. We would definitely book again.

Rented home for a family reunion and everything was perfect. Home was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a 2 car garage and additional parking for 2 more cars. Kitchen had everything we needed for making meals and had a large kitchen table. Home had large selection of games and puzzles, DVD player, & TVs. We spent the day sightseeing and hiking nearby Emerald Bay. Enjoyed lunch at Cold Water Brewery. Property manager provided instructions and phone numbers in case there was an issue with the property. Highly recommend renting this property!

Great place to stay! Very clean, quiet, and got to see wildlife from the front and back yards. Although away from the hustle and bustle of Lake Tahoe, still close to stores, restaurants, and the night life. Really appreciated all the ceiling fans and other fans in all the rooms. A couple of suggestions: a wide mouth toaster and a keurig type coffee maker for single cups of coffee would have been nice. Also, the flames in the outside grill did not get very hot...maybe just needs to be cleaned? Overall, would definitely stay here again. Thank-you all for making our visit such a nice one.

I and my daughter really enjoyed our week-long stay in this clean, beautiful, cozy, and well-equipped place! The kitchen had all kinds of appliances and cookware so we enjoyed cooking and then having meals at the beautiful sunny terrace. The property is near the edge of South Lake Tahoe, almost in the woods; I don't remember such quiet nights in many years, and this alone makes me want to visit again! Yet this place is only a few minutes of driving to shopping, dining, and other busiest places by the Lake Tahoe shore. Beautiful hiking trails in the woods are just a few minutes of walking from this property; these trails going over hills and valleys are a good exercise and we enjoyed them every single day. The hosts were super friendly and we felt taken good care of. I highly recommend this place and hope to visit again!

This is the perfect house in an absolutely perfect location. The house is as advertised, fully loaded with everything needed during your vacation. Great communication with RNR, this rental was arranged from abroad with no issues, RNR answered all my questions and assisted with all our needs. Located close to everything Lake Tahoe has to offer. Nice hiking trail right out the front door. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Visited many countries and vacation spots around the U.S. this was the best accommodation by far!!! The house was everything advertised. Fully equipped, cozy comfortable, and in a peaceful location. Just a couple minutes drive to any outdoor activity you desire. Great communication with rental office, handled all our needs and answered all questions quickly, no delays!! We really enjoy coming here. Place is clean and comfortable and a great place for families. With all the snow this year we could walk right outside and go sledding across the street on the hill.

Great property to stay at! Had everything you needed and conveniently located

All was exceptional, providing a family home experience. My daughter and her family had the opportunity to introduce their 12 year old to boarding while my husband and I enjoyed snow play at the home with the younger grandson. Our other Montana son was visiting friend in Tahoe and we had great family dinners at the home in evenings.
The place was very clean, yet we did have to remove a buildup of hair in the upstairs bathroom sink Our first evening.

We rented this cabin to meet up with some family friends & celebrate a 40th birthday. It was a perfect spot for the kids, they loved the air hockey table. The home was very clean & well equipped. We loved the quiet neighbourhood away from downtown Tahoe, but still conveniently located to get to the store/shops when needed. It is across the street from National Forest with hiking/biking trails. We enjoyed a snow storm while we were here & just had a great experience together.

Our group of 6 felt comfortable the minute we walked in the door of this exceptionally clean home. Enjoyed daily walks on the trails literally across the street. 10 minutes to Heavenly which offered food, shopping and entertainment! A must place to visit!

This was my first time renting a home with Vrbo and am very impressed. This property is in a very quiet neighborhood of SLT and close to everything. As I am a clean freak I was very happy with this home and could not find one fault. The kitchen is better stocked than my own and nothing was missing. I could definitely recommend Doti’s place to anyone and will definitely consider it for myself the next time I’m in Tahoe

We had a wonderful time at this rental. The hiking trails across the street from the house were beautiful and varied. There were several different routes to try. The house was well clean and well equipped.

Really excellent on all levels. The place was super organized, cleaned everything including blankets & comforters (I hate to say folks, not all places do that). Used fragrance free and clear laundry detergent YAY, no toxic chemicals on sheets and towels. Beautiful area with hiking trail right down the street. Quiet neighborhood. Need car or bikes, nothing in walking distance as far as stores and will be riding UP hill on way back to house. Really great place. A couple very minor issues, but management company is fabulous!

We have been to South Lake Tahoe 5 times over the last 8 years and this has been the best rental property so far! We loved the location in a quiet neighborhood on a street that is not a thru street, very quiet and relaxing. Lake Tahoe invites so much activity...hiking, biking, kayaking, etc that it is so nice to have a place to go to after a busy day where you can really relax. We spent several evenings on the large deck listening to the wind and birds. Even though this home is off the beaten path it is very easy to get to Lake Tahoe Blvd. and be quickly on your way to any attraction and avoid at least some of the traffic on the main road. It was great having three separate bedrooms with comfortable beds, and the bonus room upstairs is especially nice for kids to hang out in their own space. Everything you could ask for is provided for your use, and it is all clearly labeled. I have never been in a rental property before that went to such lengths marking locations of items and descriptions of their use and care. RnR communicated very well throughtout the entire process, even texting us a couple days before our arrival to apologize for a broken screen on an upstairs window. This was truly one of our best experiences with any rental home and we will definitely stay here again, hopefully longer than a week.

We had a great stay Doris' place. We loved nearly every aspect of the house. The house was super clean and very well stocked with every amenity necessary and tons of kitchen supplies--everything you might need. The location is really perfect--a quick drive down to Lake Tahoe Drive, but the house itself is on a beautiful and quiet street with lots of hiking right out front door. All of the furniture is very comfortable and in great condition

The air hockey table was a huge hit with our younger family member!

Our only complaint was the mattresses. They are all very uncomfortable. We have rebooked at Doris' place for August, but despite how much we loved everything about the house, the mattress situation is making us second guess. Not sure our poor and uncomfortable sleep is worth it.

Doris' Place is the perfect rental for a family wanting to spend time in South Lake Tahoe. Not only does it offer a ton of amenities (just about everything you need for cooking, boardgames, plenty of towels/extra pillows), but it's also in a great location - close to the lake and the ski resorts, and right across the street from trails/informal snow play spots. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

This was a great place to spend a weekend, 4 days, in Tahoe. Very quiet area yet close to shopping and Heavenly ski resort. There was a hiking trail just a few feet from the house. The family loved it and plans to return next year.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend. Never worried about the Covid virus. Clean and comfortable. Looking forward to staying here again. Close to town. Loved that everything in kitchen was well labeled.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nice home near Lake Tahoe. The house was very clean, quite a large space for one family and was furnished with nearly everything you needed for a relaxing vacation. It was a plus to be in a peaceful and quite neighborhood literally across the street from miles of hiking trails and forest. And the location was only a quick 5-10 min drive from the action of South Lake Tahoe. We would stay again!

Wonder clean home off Pioneer trail. It is so close to hiking/biking trails yes close to retail as well. The house includes everything you would need including beach toys and outdoor games. One of our favorite places we've stayed at. I would like to come back here again.

This vacation home was perfect for our family of four. Ample space, all the amenities needed to enjoy our time together with the ability to keep packing to a minimum due to a fully loaded kitchen, baths and laundry room. Just a 10 minute drive to find coffee shops, ski resort, downtown restaurants, grocery shopping and movie theater. The ability to have fun at home was possible. The home is nestled in the beautiful National Forest which gave our children a place to walk, run and sled. We met a few friendly neighbors while on our adventure walks which made for a great pass time for the adults. Such a gorgeous and accommodating way to spend a week in the snow!

Beautiful home and neighborhood. We were very pleased with the kitchen and ware. Generous cooking, dish and utensil supplies. Great living spaces. Bathrooms were updated and immaculate with plush thick towels. Updated flooring throughout the entire home. RNR was great to work with. Staff were very accommodating and readily available. We had three couples stay and everyone’s complaint was that the mattresses were very uncomfortable. (The pillows were flat as well.)

Our family enjoyed our stay. We loved the coziness of the home. We also loved the fun games and activities the house comes with. The dining table and chairs was perfect to enjoy family meals for all 5 adults and 3 kids. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Overall the house is warm and cozy. The drive to Heavenly Gondola is about 10-13 mins with very little traffic. The house has 1 HVAC unit which will have the downstairs warmer while the upstairs is much cooler in the winter so pick your bedrooms accordingly on how you like the temperature. 2 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs with the 2 bedrooms downstairs sharing a restroom. Plenty of living room space in both up and downstairs and board games to keep the little ones busy. The kitchen has most cooking equipment to whip up breakfast and meals with very little spices/herbs so be sure to pick some up on your way. Garage is spacious for 2 cars but only one side of the garage has an opener while the other side does not have a motor and will need some elbow grease to open and close since the latch is bent. The neighborhood is very quiet and we never saw anyone.

Fantastic place to stay, super close to heavenly to ski, and had a great rustic cabin feel. Would definitely go back again. There are some very steep hills leading to the property that were a bit difficult to traverse when it snowed, so an SUV might be helpful in the winter!

This was a great rental over the holidays. We were close to heavenly village and the casinos. The kids loved the air hockey game. Big kitchen for preparing Christmas morning breakfast.

Very nice house, super comfortable. House was very well furnished. Included everything you would need, have never stayed anywhere with such an awesome stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the snow saucers for the kids.
Only drawback was we were not allowed to have any family nearby visit us at the house.

This place it's amazingly awesome!!!! Fully equipped from the living room to the garage. Kitchen was ready to use with everything we needed to cook and baked. Bedrooms were really comfortable, game room was perfect to keep the family entertained, garage was full of fun toys to play in the snow! Outside it's so peaceful and the back yard big enough to play on the snow!
This place is a short drive to all the excitement of South Lake Tahoe including the casinos, restaurants and the lake! Our family and friends did have a wonderful time at this rental! Definitely a ??

We enjoyed our stay and RNR was very helpful every step of the way. It was a great location and a very beautiful home. The home was very organized and very well equipped. You don't have to bring much. Please read everything that is provided, I was very skeptical so I still took everything and then some. There was no need what ever you read is really provided and if you have any problems they are very prompt in addressing the issue. I would stay again and recommend you to give it a try you will not regret it.

Everything went great with the rental process and there where no disappointments. The home was clean, very well stocked and just as discribed in the add. We had a great stay and we'll definitely consider Doris's place for a return trip.

We stayed st Doris's place 4/28-5/1 for my mother in laws 60th birthday. The set up of the home was great. We were able to sleep in the upstairs bedroom and have our 2 small children stay in the extra living space upstairs with us. It was like having our own mini suite! Everyone enjoyed our time we got sun and snow. So we were able to hike a bit right across the street as well as play in the snow in the same great open area on the trail. The home was very well organized with labels to help for quick reference. I LOVE that sort of thing so I thought it was awesome!! The only thing we had issues with was the refrigerator. The bottom shelf in the door of the fridge was broken. So most times we opened the fridge everything on that shelf fell off. We tried to not store anything there... But we had a lot of food to store. It would be a really easy fix...super glue should do it! The home was very clean and maintained. Better then any hotel!

Every time we go to Tahoe, we stay at this house. It is impeccably clean and has very large living spaces. The location of the house is perfectly located to casinos, skiing, and of course the beautiful lake. I recommend this loving home to all visitors-near and far.

Everything about the location was great! What really stood out to me about my experience was the concern and flexibility they showed me when I got a flat tire during a storm. They allowed the rest of my party to stay in the house past our check out time so i can drive over an hour away to get a new tire. (it was a sunday, there were no closer locations that was open)

This was the cleanest place I've ever stayed at. This home and everything stocked in it for adults and children all the amenities of home. The appliances were high-quality, the kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, cups glasses, baking pans, you get the picture! The furniture and the beds were of high quality as well and very comfortable!

RnR had excellent customer service, would give them return business.

A group of friends decided to have a weekend getaway in Tahoe. The house was perfect! It suited all of our needs and you couldn't beat the location. The house was clean and well-maintained and everything that was detailed in the description was SPOT on! I would definitely recommend this property.

Our family enjoyed staying in the beautiful home and appreciated that the owner upgraded the home and provided detailed instructions. The home was spacious, clean, well stocked with cooking utensils, deck furniture, linen, etc. Located in a nice neighborhood with hiking trails right across the street.

Doris's Place had just about everything that you need from the bath towels to dish washing soap, to laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The spacious kitchen was FULLY stocked with various cookwares and untensils. Everyone likes to cook in our group so the extensive counter space was KEY! We stayed for a full week and only ate out for 2 different meals. We would definitely consider staying at Doris's Place in the future!

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our trip! The kids enjoyed it. From the pictures I thought ok this will be nice, and then when we arrived I was very pleased with the home! We will defiantly be interested in renting again from them :)
